Jesse Price was elected to Sky Valley City Council on November 4, 2025, and will take office on January 6, 2026.
Jesse and his wife Kelsey purchased their home in Sky Valley in 2021 and made the permanent move in 2022. Their son Tyler graduated from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and is now a sophomore at the University of Georgia, while their daughter Bailey is a senior at Rabun Gap this year. Both children have grown up embracing everything that makes Sky Valley special.
A proud University of Oregon graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design and Production, Jesse spent the first part of his career in commercial interior and architectural design, creating branding and spaces for national brands including McDonald’s, Burger King, Home Depot, and Martha Stewart. He later transitioned into User Experience and User Interface design, building apps and video games for software companies and startups across the country.
For several years Jesse also owned and operated The Growler Guys franchise, where they enjoyed building community around craft beer, cider, kombucha, and good conversation.
After two decades in design, technology, and small-business ownership, Jesse is grateful to call Sky Valley home. He and his family love the mountain lifestyle, the dark skies, and the friendly, small-town feel that make this corner of Rabun County unlike anywhere else.
