
Jason Streetman has 25 years of local government and management experience and has been City Manager for the City of Sky Valley, GA since February of 2021.
As City Manager, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the City, creates the annual budget and sees the policy decisions of the Mayor and Council are achieved. He considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Sky Valley.
A Georgia native, he grew up along the Chattahoochee River living in both Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL.
He has a BS degree in Sociology with an emphasis in socioeconomics from Troy University and a Master of Public Administration from Piedmont University with an emphasis in local government management. He possesses relevant certifications to include AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) and ICMA-CM (International City/County Manager Association- Certified Manager).
Along with his wife Jessica, who is a schoolteacher with Rabun County Schools, they have lived in Rabun County since 2014 and are actively raising their 17-year-old triplets who are juniors at Rabun County High School. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He is also a Freemason.
