Karen Fleming serves as the Certified City Clerk for the City of Sky Valley. In this role, she acts as the custodian of all City Council proceedings, prepares official meeting minutes, and processes ordinances and resolutions for filing. Her responsibilities also include providing information to the public, managing public records requests, directing the City’s records retention program, and overseeing payroll and accounts payable.
Mrs. Fleming began her employment with the City in February 2019 and is committed to providing responsive, accurate, and high-quality municipal services.
A longtime resident of Rabun County, Mrs. Fleming and her husband have raised their family in
the area. She considers herself fortunate to live and work in this region of the state.
